Low density polyethylene (LDPE) is produced by high-pressure polymerisation and has long-chain branching, which gives excellent clarity, softness and easy processing. It is the preferred material for transparent packaging film, shrink film, laminations and extrusion coating.
Available grades: LDPE 2420H and LDPE 2119. Both are often blended with LLDPE to improve film strength while keeping good optics.
