What is HDPE F7000 (7000F) used for?
F7000 is an HDPE film grade for very thin, high-strength blown film – T-shirt and grocery bags, liners and produce bags – typically 6 to 60 µm.
Why is F7000 popular for thin bags?
Its high molecular weight gives high stiffness and tensile strength at low gauge, and it runs stably at high output, so converters can down-gauge and still keep bag strength.
Can F7000 be blended with LLDPE or recycled material?
Yes. Blending with LLDPE improves tear and dart impact; blending with clean HDPE regrind is common for garbage bags. Test blend ratios on your line before full production.
What melt temperature should I use?
A melt temperature of about 180–220 °C is typical on HDPE high-stalk blown film lines.
