What is LDPE 2420H used for?
2420H is an additive-free LDPE film grade for blown and cast film: general packaging film, shrink film, bags and pouches, typically 20–150 µm.
Why choose an additive-free LDPE?
Without slip or anti-block additives, 2420H gives very good heat sealing and printability and lets converters add exactly the additive masterbatch their process needs.
Can 2420H be blended with LLDPE?
Yes. LDPE/LLDPE blends are standard: LDPE 2420H contributes clarity, gloss and bubble stability, while LLDPE adds toughness and puncture resistance.
What are the recommended processing conditions?
A melt temperature of about 160–200 °C is typical for blown film.
What optical properties can I expect?
Typical haze is below 8% and gloss (60°) above 100 at 50 µm, suitable for transparent packaging.
