HIPS 7240 is a very high impact polystyrene for the extrusion industry, designed to be diluted with crystal polystyrene. Its good melt strength makes it particularly suited to deep-draw thermoforming of dairy cups, trays and food containers. Available in white.

  • Process: Sheet extrusion & thermoforming
  • Melt temperature: 190 – 240 °C
  • Pre-drying: 70 °C, 2 – 4 h
  • Shrinkage: 0.4 – 0.7 %

  • 25 kg PE / woven bags; palletised or jumbo bags on request
  • 20′ / 40′ container loading
  • Delivery ex-factory or at border, 100% pre-shipment inspection and full export documentation
